To add more… We have met many girls over the years who, having married mga Kano, live in our area. We have learned many very important facts about intercultural relationships. One fact is for certain… no matter where you go in this world, there are good girls with good intentions and there are bad girls with bad intentions (even in the Philippines). If a gentleman is interested in marrying Filipina, he must deeply research her family, neighbors, friends and local history.

I have been married to my Filipina wife for 16 years, having met through mission work. We are three years apart in age. I do agree with many attributes the pinoy culture has, but beware: If your mate likes hip-hop and you like Frank Sinatra, you will have problems. If you like smoking and drinking, you will have problems. If you don’t understand the family unity and culture (and respect it) in the Philippines, you will have problems. People, please marry within your age range!!!!!!!
