  3. @Optimusnorm A Captain in the army? did she ever speak of the organised kidnappings & murders of the students etc carried out by the military?,
It’s so obvious it’s done by the state yet the rest of the world does nothing, im sure even those involved are afraid to speak out of turn or they might end up missing, if i lived there i don’t think i could keep my opinions quiet, id probably go missing also, i suppose growing up here made me that way, its hard to break old habits or to say nothing

  4. @Optimusnorm Ah now im in agreement, although i recently saw a video report of a woman who’s a trained midwife/nurse who visits different areas and gives talks to all the young male & female regarding contraception, i think the younger generation are deciding for themselves rather than being dictated to by the church, we also may only go back to visit, i think i was lucky i didn’t buy a place there, the corruption will never change at least not in my time, but i still love the peoples nature.

  5. @8inchirish – my ex-wife was a Captain in the Philippines army…a mail order bomb as she used to call herself hehe. She’s highly critical of her country. Our son was born outside, indeed we met outside. She now works in real estate in Dubai and has done very well for herself and has no plans to go back except for holidays. Our son has my nationality, we haven’t even bothered to get his Filipino passport because there’s no need. He can apply if wants anytime but he’s not interested.

  6. @8inchirish – Most Filipinos don’t bother with contraception and abortion is illegal (and thus restricted to back street clinics which can harm women) – both because of Catholic influence.
The Philippines main problem is massive corruption, and the perputating of the old Spanish hacienda system. Catholicism, nay, Christianity in general hasn’t helped them much. Then again, a comparison to China probably isn’t fair. China has 3000 years of culture and philosophy…

  7. Continued, if you start a business only 40% can be in your name, 60% in the name of your spouse, I am married to a filipina, we have 2 kids born in the philippines, i can get filipino nationality & buy whatever i like there, my mrs is a marketing officer who worked for some major companies there such as mazda/kia cars, golds gym, and a few major mobile phone providers, her father is well known in Quezon City, id have few problems getting things done there, experienced that already when there.

  8. @Optimusnorm you danced around it by giving your opinion why theres poverty in china, i had asked was it because of catholicism? your long answer avoided the simple NO required, making my point that the population size in the phils is definately helped with catholicism, i agree with you there, but the poverty is because the government doesent direct any of the wealth back to the people, you can buy a condo if your not a citizen, if you want a house or property you must be married to a filipino

  9. @8inchirish – I anwsered the question, if I didn’t please explain how. You’re fed up? I’m not the one engaging in personal attacks in a youtube comment box. You can’t buy property in most of the Philippines unless you do it through a Filipino…unless you go for one of the freehold developments where you basically have few rights. I know many filipinos too…and my first child is half filipino :o )
So tell me, how did I dance around the China question?

  10. @yuki09871234 your in japan?

  11. @Optimusnorm No, you danced around the question but im fed up with it now, hehe have I been to the Philippines? (tu mu wad ka, sipsi pin mo ang titi ko,) YES i have, and i know many many filipinos here and in the Phils, the last time I was there I was supposed to be there for a year with plans to buy a home there, unfortunately I had to return home into my 4th month, I am hoping to return in the near future, oh I can manage enough TagAlog, prounce the A strong remember?

  12. @8inchirish – I answered your question in my previous comment – please feel free to read it.
Yes, the Philippine government still panders to the Catholic church in ways few European countries would dream of. The Church still interferes with politics and influences the way people vote. How many times have you been to the Philippines and how many Filipinos do you know? Can you speak Tagalog?

  14. @Optimusnorm I do think that yes, I don’t need to look it up, i said previously don’t go all latin on here, is your memory ok? it means argument towards or at a person, you said Ireland rich because of secular education and commerce? CORRECT, so it’s nothing to do with the catholicism? that means poverty in the Philippines is because of the government and lack secular education and commerce? & you still avoided answering about china’s poverty & catholicism, inferiority complex? Not Me, bye

  15. @8inchirish – am sorry if you think making use of vocabluary makes me want to sound intelligent. Seems like you have an inferiority complex. Not my problem…look up ad hominum before making silly comments like me wanting to sound clever. Any more questions or will you just resort to name calling then say I’m trying to sound smart when I reply without calling you names?
Ireland’s rich because of secular education and commerce, not the catholic church who rape kids and cover it up.

  16. @8inchirish – ok to answer your question there is poverty in China because China was raped by western powers for around 200 years then wracked by bitter civil war. However China is now the second largest economy on earth…and they did it without any judeo-christian religion telling them not to use condoms, pray to dead jews or believe they are going to heaven. There is now a lot less poverty in China than the Philippines and many live at least as well as us in the west. Have you been there?

  17. @8inchirish – indeed!

  18. @dirtycrase Really? whats wrong with white people?

  19. @Optimusnorm hominum?? don’t go all latin on here, the sign of somone who cannot debate is the person who just avoided the direct questions in my last comment & threw in hominum to try and sound intelligent, so my question was are you saying there is no provery in china? and is that because they are not catholic?, the philippines might have more people than ireland but both countries are majority catholic, next to britian? doesent make us rich, less currupt, YES, not big families

  20. @Optimusnorm seems my replies are not working,

  21. @MsAppleone haha he wasn’t there just to look?

  22. @8inchirish – If you want to defend negative comments that’s fine, but don’t start with silly, unfounded ad hominum attacks…it’s the sign of someone who cannot debate reasonably.

  23. @8inchirish – I was making comments about a country and some bar girls not an individual. China is richer than the Philippines, has 3000 years of history, culture and philosophy and is on track to be a superpower. There’s no comparison. China has moved on from Mao’s day. I have Irish citizenship due to family…Ireland is richer because it’s next to Britain and has major USA investment too. It spends a lot more on education and is less corrupt and less catholic than the philippines.

  24. @Optimusnorm Your right, thats exactly what you did when you attacked filipinos, you don’t seem to like any negativity directed towards yourself? why should i assume your honest when you come out with those remarks, are you saying there is no provery in china? and thats because they are not catholic? chinese communist governments oppress their people worst than the philippines, ireland is majority catholic, with large families, why is it not starving?

  25. @8inchirish – I left her if you must know. Nice how you’ve started personal attacks on my honesty and manners as a means to defend filipinos – says a lot about you. We all have our own experience. If you look back at my comments I was blaming their government. Also, the Chinese and Japanese seemed to have managed just fine without Catholicism or any judeo-christian religion. Large families cost more to educate and education is needed to find good work for most people…work=more money. Simple.
